Finished and I am dancing .....

..... all the way to my next Rosewood Manor.. Quakers and Quilts..
The floss colours for these designs are such beautiful muted colours and well worth the cost.
I seem to be the only one who has kept up with this quakers blog but no matter I have enjoyed my stitching...
This was stitched on a pale cream 32C Belfast linen and the recommended floss.

Happy Stitching and the close of this blog.

Email Account Hacked

My email has been hacked, all my contacts have been sent an email that I am in Scotland stranded and need money...PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THIS....I am safe and well at home!

The b*****d has also cleared all my contacts etc out of the account too...I have now terminated the email so it is now dead and set up a new one...but I have lost all my friends email addresses...therefore please could you leave your email on the post on my blog ONLY...the link to this post is here...all my comments are for blog owner approval, so I won't publish any of the comments, but they will come through to my email so I can have your email address, I will then delete the comment hence it will not appear on my blog...hope this makes sense.

Thanks friends

A stitching afternoon

An afternoon of stitching has meant a small progress, but as this is to last a year I am happy.
It's not that I am tired of this its just I have other things to do.

I have knitted a short sleeved cardi and completed another cross stitch, so I am not idle.I have also done quite a bit of gardening, one day in Coventry. We drove back to check on the house and tidy the garden.

Hope what ever you're doing you're happy.

Hugs and happy stitching.

Progress at last after a lot of frogging!

I settled down to stitch this again and was getting on well.. then the next evening I picked it up again only to realise I had positioned the word Poppy in the wrong place and consequently the large motif
I spent an evening frogging it carefully as the
chart said that the blackish colour was only enough for the design! But here is what I have done this evening.
Has anyone else stitched their quaker
 design?

Happy stitching and hopefully all your frogs will stay in the pond!

Sorry...

.... I haven't posted in the last month, but moving from Coventry to Billericay has taken all my energies.. some evenings I was too tired and those when I did stitch I stitched something that was easy, with out too many colour changes.. So.. watch out for next week I pledge to stitch one motif of my Spring Quaker..

Latest progress

Hi All

I stitched quite a bit in the last two weeks, and completed the large motif as well as the small one and the word crocus. I am still happy to stitch this, and still love the colours.
Happy Stitching.
